JW Marriott Hotel - Auckland
JFIS proudly delivered the complete interior fitout of the JW Marriott Auckland — one of New Zealand's most prestigious luxury hotel transformations. Part of a $35 million renovation of the Albert Street property, our scope covered everything from the reception and lobby through to the all-day dining restaurant, meeting rooms, and bespoke ceiling detailing throughout.
Designed in collaboration with renowned Singaporean studio O37, the fitout weaves fluted glass and marble elements throughout, drawing on Auckland's natural environment and city character to create a space that balances raw and refined finishes. The result is a modern, high-spec interior with a distinct New Zealand flavour — a true urban sanctuary in the heart of Auckland's CBD.

SO/ Auckland Hotel Interior Fitout | JFIS
JFIS was proud to deliver the complete interior fitout of SO/ Auckland, one of New Zealand's boldest and most distinctive luxury hotels. Housed in the former Reserve Bank building in the heart of Auckland's CBD, SO/ Auckland brought a new level of design audacity to the city's hotel scene.
The fitout brought to life a striking design collaboration between Dutch interior designer Moooi and New Zealand fashion house WORLD, spanning the lobby, Harbour Society restaurant, and every detail in between. The underlying material palette of stone, metals, and natural finishes called for precision craftsmanship throughout, From custom ceiling installations to bespoke joinery across all 16 floors.
Touches of gold woven throughout the interiors pay homage to the building's heritage as the Reserve Bank of New Zealand, adding a layer of storytelling to every finish we delivered.

Horizon Hotel - Auckland
Horizon by SkyCity Hotel Interior Fitout | JFIS
JFIS was proud to deliver the interior fitout of Horizon by SkyCity, Auckland's newest five-star hotel and one of the most anticipated hospitality openings in recent memory. Designed by Moller Architects, the 12 storey, 300 room hotel forms part of the landmark SkyCity and New Zealand International Convention Centre precinct on Hobson Street.
Natural stones, marble, wood, and locally commissioned art are the defining themes throughout, demanding a high standard of craftsmanship at every level, from the reception and Onyx Bar through to the 140 seat ‘The Grill’ restaurant and bespoke ceiling details across the building. Custom joinery, elegant fixtures, and carefully selected finishes reflect both the hotel's distinctive character and Auckland's natural beauty.
The use of stained hardwood timbers, natural granites, marbles, and brass detailing creates a rich material palette befitting a true five-star offering, and one that required precision and care to execute throughout.
